Hi, I’m Francisco Cruz – a music business professional, creative producer, and multimedia creative based in London.
I recently completed my MA in Music Business at ICMP (The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance), where I specialised in artist development, A&R, and the future of the music industry. Before that, I earned a BA in Film and Cinema from Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto, which gave me a strong foundation in visual storytelling, production coordination, and creative project management.
My work sits at the intersection of music, film, and live culture. I’ve coordinated studio sessions, filmed and interviewed artists on tour, and produced events that spotlight underground talent. Currently, I’m developing Mass Hysteria – an events and media platform supporting alternative rap and emerging artists – while also growing my personal artist/producer project, Ecco.
I thrive in roles that combine creative vision with strategic execution – from A&R scouting and event planning to content creation and branding. Alongside my industry work, I’m tech-savvy, multilingual, and experienced across platforms like Ableton, Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
At the core of everything I do is a belief in the power of music, with a goal to create and keep music culture alive and interesting.
